Hi Darlene nice to hear from you so soon. To deal with the pain I take alote of Ibuprofen and my tramadol which my doctor put me on about 5yrears ago and it seems to help me. My fingers are the part of me that really deal me a fit they look like bent branch so twisted and have to use them each day sometime is unbearable my hips and lower back also hurts but I feel very lucky as my sister is on a drug study in colorado and the med they have used on her from pills to giving herself shots and still has had to have a knee replacement and only 59. But I have worked most my married life doing manual labor which I feel has help me to get through this but now not working I feel it setting in more. One just has to stay on med and try to keep active. Which I don't do much now that my husband passed away Doctor has caution me about laying around and not getting out and I know he's right. The tramadol helps to give me alittle energy which helps this is the generic brand you might talk to your doctor about it and see what he says it might help you. I have try the celabrec probably spell wrong but it did'nt work for me. I know everyone caution me about taking so much ibuprofen as I take five in the morning along with my other and five before I go to bed.. People really don't know how painful this can be and as you getolder it seems to get in all you joints. We just have to hang in there. Sometimes it's hard to keep a smile on your face. I don't know if this gives you any comfort but I hope you continue to answer back god bless. A friend Judy
