I started taking the medication but then I got a upper respiratory infection and the the doctor told me to stop taking it while I recovery. This scared me so I stop totally taking it. But I am afraid that my R.A. would get worst. I am only on Plagunil now.

Deneen the Methotrexate lowers your immune system that is probably why he asked you to stop atking it. Your fears are or were just like mine Because that does happen I was off my meds for 3 weeks i noticed a big difference It is scary but you need to build up your strenght to get over that respiratory prob. Because having RA lowers your immune system already. I am on Enbrel and methotrxate plus I need a vicodin tabs some days but not all Thank God So what is Plagunil doing for you?

The Plagunil is helping but I do experience severe knee pains. so I dont know if I should start the methotrexate again I so afraid of getting worse.
